  1. Where do I enter information for additional session presenters?

  1. Q: Where do I enter information for additional session presenters?
    A: You will not be prompted to enter additional presenters until you have received notification that your proposal was accepted.  Once you enter information for yourself (session leader) on the first page of the form, press “submit.” On the following page, you will find a link to add additional presenters; click there to enter information for each of your session presenters.  Please note that you will need to enter each presenter for each session they are presenting on.

  2. Q: Where do I find the conference track theme descriptions? 
    A: On the 2013 Annual Conference Session Proposals page.

  3. Q: Do I need to submit my session materials now?
    A: No. We just need a list of the materials that you intend to hand out to participants at your session. If the session is chosen for presentation at the conference, you will be responsible for submitting electronic copies of your handouts in advance of the conference, as well as providing hard copies for the participants onsite.
     
  4. Q: Why are you asking me for the race and gender of my presenters?
    A: NLADA believes that providing trainings with diverse faculty is consistent with our mission to pursue equal justice and enhances the quality of the conference. We therefore ask you to consider the ethnic, racial and gender diversity conference participants and our community as a whole when electing the faculty for your session(s). We urge you to make every effort to include minority and women presenters in your session.
     
  5. Q: Will I be able to make changes or additions to my session proposal after I submit it?
    A: Yes. Log in to www.mynlada.org using your username and password. From the home page, click on "my workspace" under the tab labeled with your username.  Once you have accessed your workspace, you will see submissions for all of your sessions and presenters, and will be able to make changes to any of them.
     
  6. Q: When will I know if my proposal has been accepted?
    A: You will be notified via email by July 19, 2013.
